What is In- Chair whitening ?
In Chair whitening is the whitening the dentists performs in the dental clinic using high power lights to show instant effects and powerful whitening.This teeth whitening treatment involved 2 appointments over 1-2 hoursThe second appointment is the booster dose to refine the primary whitening doneExpected Outcome-We would ensure the patient to expect close to four shades lighter after the In-Chair whitening. However, there always exists exceptions, which shall be reported to the patient before the start of the procedure.
What is In-House Whitening ?
This whitening treatment involves patient kit for the patient to perform the whitening at home.Patient can expect upto 2 shades difference for sure.
What precautions to take ?
It is normal for you to experience mild sensitivity after the procedure. However we do prescribe a desensitising toothpaste which needs to be used routinely for a month to give complete relief from sensitivity. You also need to bid goodbye to heavily staining foods for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Who are candidates for teeth whitening
If you have discolored teeth due history of trauma or various habits, teeth whitening is surely beneficial. Heavy Stained teeth after treatment can be made whiter to give you a brighter smile. However, we will surely identify the need for whitening after the first consultation.
